Member of the Leading CPC Members Group and Vice Chairman of CCPIT
Dr KE Liangdong holds a PhD degree in Criminal Law from Wuhan University Law School. Having worked successively as Deputy Director, Director of Department of Legal Affairs of the Ministry of Public Security of the People’s Republic of China, followed by Deputy Director General, Director General of Bureau of Legal Affairs of the Ministry of Public Security of the People’s Republic of China, in March 2018, KE was appointed as Deputy Secretary General of the Standing Committee of the 13th National People’s Congress and member of the Leading Party Members' Group. Dr KE Liangdong has been a member of the Leading CPC Members Group and Vice Chairman of the CCPIT since January 2020.

Mr Edwin TONG SC
Minister for Culture, Community and Youth, and Second Minister for Law
Mr Edwin Tong SC is Minister for Culture, Community and Youth, and Second Minister for Law. He is also Chairman of the Chinese Community Liaison Group, and Deputy Chairman of the People’s Association.
At the Ministry of Law, he focuses on the development and promotion of Singapore’s legal and dispute resolution sector, including the Singapore Convention on Mediation. He also handles wide-ranging aspects of law reform, such as intellectual property, corporate restructuring and insolvency, and legal aid.
Before taking office, Mr Tong spent his entire working life at Allen & Gledhill LLP. In that time, he was concurrently Head of the Restructuring and Corporate Insolvency Department, Co-Head of the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Department, and a member of the Exco. He was widely acknowledged to be a leading lawyer of the Singapore Bar, and was appointed Senior Counsel in 2015.

His Excellency LUI Tuck Yew
Singapore's Ambassador to the People's Republic of China
Mr LUI Tuck Yew has been Singapore’s Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China since 18 November 2019.
Born in 1961, Mr Lui graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from University of Cambridge, Trinity College United Kingdom in 1983. He subsequently obtained a Master of Arts Degree in International Relations from Tufts University, USA in 1994.
Mr Lui was Singapore’s Ambassador to Japan from 17 June 2017 to 25 October 2019. Mr Lui was the Minister for Transport from 2011 to 2015 and concurrently Second Minister for Foreign Affairs from 2011 to 2012 and Second Minister for Defence in 2015. Mr Lui was Minister for Information, Communications and the Arts from 2009 to 2011. He was first elected as Member of Parliament in 2006 and served as a Senior Minister of State in the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Information, Communications and the Arts until 2009.
Mr Lui was a Singapore Armed Forces (Overseas) scholar and served in the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN), rising to the position of Chief of Navy in 1999.
Mr Lui was appointed Chief Executive of the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore in 2003 and concurrently Deputy Secretary (Land), Ministry of Transport. He joined the Housing and Development Board (HDB) as Chief Executive Officer in 2005.
Mr Lui was born on 16 August 1961. He is married to Madam Teng Soo Fen and has two children. He enjoys travelling, reading, cricket, baseball and American football.

Mr CUI Yonghui is Member of the Standing Committee of CPC Fujian Provincial Committee, Secretary of CPC Xiamen Municipal Committee, and Head of MSRCLD Xiamen Leading Group.
Mr REN Hongbin
Secretary of the Leading CPC Members Group and Chairman of CCPIT
Mr REN Hongbin obtained a master’s degree in Engineering. At the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM), he worked successively as deputy director-general level official at the Department of European Affairs, Commercial Counselor (deputy director-general level) at the Chinese Embassy in Hungary, Party Secretary and Vice President of China Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation, MOFCOM (director-general level); Director-General of the Department of WTO Affairs and Director-General of China WTO Notification and Inquiry Center, and Director-General of the Department of Foreign Trade and Deputy Director of National Mechanic and Electronic Import and Export Office. In May 2018, he became a member of the Leading CPC Members Group of MOFCOM and Assistant Minister of Commerce. In July 2021, he was appointed Vice Minister of Commerce. Since January 2022, he was appointed Secretary of the Leading CPC Members Group and Chairman of the CCPIT.
